    ‘This week, a study has shown that the devastating floods which damaged nearly 10,000 properties in England and Wales in 2000, and cost £1.3 billion in insurance losses, were made significantly more likely by climate change caused by humans…The bottom line of all this? Allen and his team found that human greenhouse gas emissions “significantly increased” the likelihood of the 2000 floods.’

    right on

    David is understandably confused, Global Warming is code for Global overpopulation
    and Climate Change is code for Political Climate Change. those are the real issues at stake. not the air Temperature.

    how about opening your eyes to a bigger world

    There is so much crap in this video and wouldn’t know when to start. To save me the trouble if anyone wants to learn something look up video’s by Potholer54 and Greenman3610.

    Perhaps the powers that be are scared that CO2 might rise, because this would encourage plant growth in areas of the world that are traditionally pretty barren. Basically, 3rd World countries. This change could in turn help to eliminate starvation in said countries. Due to he ptb’s worry about overpopulation, they will do their best to keep CO2 as low as possible and thus dissuade plant growth. In essence they would prefer people to die rather than to live and breed? Just a thought. Any comments

    Typical leftist BBC against freedom of speech. Well done David, thank god you are an honourable man.

    You’re missing the point. I’m being forced to pay taxes towards the NHS when I don’t want to. I’d quite happily opt out of the NHS and go private, but will I be granted a tax return? No, I won’t. It’s like the BBC TV licence. I don’t want to be forced to pay £12 a month for the “privilege” of being fed left-wing propaganda, but I can be fined and even sent to jail for not paying it. I’m not being given a choice to elect to have and watch a TV without watching BBC.

  11. Mattthehat2012 says:

    @Lightf00t1 Well the NHS saved my life. If you don’t like it you can always go private.

  12. Mattthehat2012 says:

    the ‘fact’ that the temperature is not going up is simply not true. The GMST has been the hottest in 10 years this year.

    What I just said, you absolute twat. I think the global warming must have burned out your eyes.

  14. torturedgenius314 says:

    @Lightf00t1 which is ??

    Actually, I wish the NHS a slow and painful death. A surgeon for the NHS fucked up my surgery as a kid, which led to serious long-term problems. I wasn’t even able to sue them for medical negligence, because by the time I realised the consequences I was over the time threshold for which one could make a claim.

    The NHS is flawed, like so many things in modern Britain, but because of the liberal strangehold in the government/media complex, none will say what needs saying.

    @Lightf00t1 what if your the mongol as you so tactfully put it ! what if you fall on bad times you fall down and hurt your self or get cancer or anyone of a million horrible things at the mo you have the NHS god bless em! would you really want to not be able to work cos of your condiction therefore not make money therefore not treat the condiction if you have no friends and family you would die in the street you want to live in that society?????

  17. Lightf00t1 says:

    @torturedgenius314

    Yes, I could….no problem.

    The fact is that it would be best for a strong country. If people knew they were going to pay for health care then they’d maybe take better care of their health.

    And this is coming from someone who couldn’t afford private healthcare.

    Get rid of the NHS.

    As for disabled people, there’s too much emphasis put on “protecting the vulnerable”. What about strengthening the economy for better jobs, etc. Not much money in caring for mongols.

  18. torturedgenius314 says:

    @Lightf00t1 NHS a bad thing ? social darwinism! two words slippery slope! Let me tell you this my friend todays king is tomorrows beggar we all fall on bad times, we all die ! so now your fit stong and healthy that will change i guarantee it and when it does how do you want to be treated? I think the NHS are not letting people die with dignity who most likely should but i am not talking about that I am talking about the disabled, weak and vuriable. social darwinism!! could you really?

  19. Lightf00t1 says:

    @torturedgenius314

    I don’t know where you are, but I’m in the UK. As such, I have free access to healthcare (under the National Health Service). The NHS is an unsustainable institution anyway, so I think that it should be completely dissolved. In its place, I think we should implement a system akin to America’s private health care system. Free access to healthcare for those who would have died off due social darwinism is half the problem.

  20. torturedgenius314 says:

    @Lightf00t1 Who said i was on the left ? I totally agree over population is as big as climate change and peak oil. what I am is a scientist and a humanist and I don’t want to see people suffer, who does. I am for the cure for cancer as i think most sane people are and at the same i see population problems. and it is a paradox! and one which can lead to ideas like eugenics, i think we live in a very scary and insecure time but whats your solution? keep burning oil ? watch leukemic kids die ?

  21. Lightf00t1 says:

    @torturedgenius314

    It’s paradoxical that, generally, the statists (and 99% of them are) who are obsessed with Mother Earth and “saving the planet” don’t want to discuss the elephant in the room, and that’s overpopulation. Strangely, these same people want to find the cure for cancer/AIDS and impose socialised health care on everyone.

    And there is an example of the irrationality and confusion of the Left.

  22. torturedgenius314 says:

    @Lightf00t1 your problem there is with the press who don’t know science from a hole in there arse but love sensation because it sells, so some scientist says there is a chance like 1% that given certain condictions there might be an ice age! the press jump on this and the public don’t bother to check the scientific journals because who is going to do that hence people get the wrong inpression you want real info check the journals and they all agree climate change is real!!!

  23. torturedgenius314 says:

    @Lightf00t1 some one once said “Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught, will we realize that we cannot eat money” i can’t help but think he has a point there! look at what nature can do crops fail etc the world is a complex non-linear self regulating system and what we are doing atm isn’t sustainable I wish it was and that I am wrong but i am not!! you cut the trees knock on effect birds die which leads to…knock on effect!!

  24. Lightf00t1 says:

    @torturedgenius314

    Funny, they said we were all going to enter an Ice Age in the seventies.

    Scientists, and people in general, have been trying to scare us for centuries. Some people seem to get a perverse satisfaction in buying into their insane theories. It’s just another bloody religion.

  25. torturedgenius314 says:

    @Lightf00t1 I think nuclear is a good thing and we should be make more and more nuclear power plants. but I do think you are swapping one problem with another! if the world was 100% nuclear and population and energy consumption grows exponentially, than you are talking about billions of tons of nuclear waste I don’t think even you would deny the effect that would have on the planet we all share!! what about things like cutting down the amazon you seem bright you cant think thats a good thing !!
