The melting permafrost is being monitored by international scientists. As it thaws, carbon is released into the atmosphere in the form of greenhouse gases. A barrel floating in the ocean will grow a seaweed farm. It would be easy to create rainforest sized algae farms mid ocean. The seaweed farms would photosynthesis, as well as the lifeforms themselves would be made of carbon.
Cheap. Proactive. Harmless.
Also mid ocean seaweed (algae) farms could be towed to counties in need for emergency food fuel.
No downside.
Build seaweed farms from shore and tow them out to sea and anchor them. Polluting companies could sponsor the low costs.

Global warming is the new boogie man. You are supposed to accept it as fact yet there is no way to disprove it. There are lots of scary stories yet no evidence of actual global warming.

Look at the overall trend and you know that even after the “shifting of plate tectonics, hurricanes, blabla…”, and all other data, it is not enough to offset the warming of this planet and its destruction.
Regarding NOAA, I did a very quick search on “Global Warming”. This is straight from NOAA:
Global surface temperatures have increased about 0.74°C (plus or minus 0.18°C) since the late-19th century, and the linear trend for the past 50 years of 0.13°C (plus or minus 0.03°C) per decade is nearly twice that for the past 100 years.
Lastly, seven of the eight warmest years on record have occurred since 2001 and the 10 warmest years have all occurred since 1995.
Whoever believe this is a hoax is an idiot.
Global warming is like someone hitting you with needles. If you have been hit by few, it is ok. But if it is overdone, you bleed to death. The earth is already at the death part.
And even if it was not true, how many BillionS people will die when the sea will rise? Even today, there is a crisis in food because there are too many humans in this planet and not enough food to fed them. Maybe our planet will turn like Mars or Venus very soon
All numbers are just based on my own perception.
I personally feel that:
Today: Global warming cannot be stopped anymore.
2050: all ice is gone, billion people have to be relocated
2100: a suit is required to go outside
2200: end of humanity

Once again, I am a chemical engineer with a minor in environmental studies. I studied atmospheric effects of this stuff. Global warming deals only with the total average temperature. Not the temperature at each location on the planet. Different regions will react differently. That’s why it should be called, “Global Climate Change”.
