well i dont want India to be hip. Sure many cities are becoming cosmopolitan but there exist remote village where people study vedas, and study our scrptures. and i deeply respect that too. I went to a vedic school and their life is radically different (not negative) from mine. and i respect that. The Indian Value System is stronger than the one that exists in North America. they would have the same problems as india does to some extent. the average human in india doesnt have style or swagger because of the sheer number of ppl there are. the commodities available per person in india is lower because the population is so damn high. in the last decade we have seen a tremendous inprovement in style and swagger i think u will agree, this is becuase india is modernizing. and this trend will continue.
yes u r definately right about the hip part. i think they have ethics, actually ethics of ordinary indian people aer much better than that of people in north america. and etiquette is a very relative word. something which is considered norm and expected in one place may be different from the etiquette of another place. this is a fundamental rule that sociologists use when studying societies. apply this too ur toiler paper reference. and man if north america was as densly populated as india
oh i respect Gandhi, manmohan singh. They are great individuals. I like Mukesh Ambani as a businessman not as a person. He too has brightened India. I am not saying they are bad people.
My point is the common man or “am janta” as the congress party likes to call them, are not as hip as the average person living in North America. I dont think a lot of people will dispute that. There are postive things about Indians as well as negative aspects relating to social life.
Still waiting for when you have kissing scenes in your movies.

why should India make movies on WW2??? It had nothing to do with us. We have made movies on our national leaders and our war history. Hollywood also makes the same amount of shit movies. Like half the movies talk abt world depending on this one guy whoz the savior. India caters to its own audiences. And our movies have started to make a LOTS of money!!!

@sharmabharat77 spot on! when was the last time bollywood made a movie about ww2 or about anything that had any relativity to real life. I dont hate indians and I think russell is very funny, but we dont need to hear about it all the time.
@JimboGee1234 true that man. when u make 600 odd movies a year. most are bound to be bullshit. but i believe that the general quality is increasing as more difficult and realistic themes are tackled.

HEY! Many Indian problem came from stupid traditional . We indians can make our country better(modern), if we can stop the old traditional and his stupid stroys. Dont fight for your religion instead fight for your nation. Religion don’t unite india! The fact is thinking rational. We need a change of mindset in indian people! Indian tv shows are shit like the Indian government.They do not anything to educate the indians.The only hope is a strong indian economy! Copy paste!
