And its funny you refer to the Apache since all Native American movements identify themselves with the Palestinians, not the European Jewish settlers. And Palestinians weren’t against these settlers from coming onto the land and making it their home, they lives in peace for a long time. Problems started when the Jews decided to take the land for themselves. Many Jews were against that, but the Zionist leaders and the European leaders already had this as part of their colonialist design.
@Lestibournes
And yet the indigenous populations were expelled. And yet Saladin did reclaim Jerusalem from the Crusaders and invited Christians and the expelled Jews back in. Those are historical facts. The Palestinians are indigenous, they have been living on this land for 1000’s of years. In their blood exist all of the different races that once settled on their land, from the times of ancient Can’aan up till now.

Jihad have alot means but not to kills people without reasons.
@shadowkill546 The secular Zionists meant to build a refuge for Jews as well as a national home for them. Expelling friendly population wasn’t a part of the agenda.
Saladin could not reclaim Jerusalem, as it wasn’t his in the first place.
All the population in Israel other than the Jews are settlers that came and colonized our country. We revived ourselves, just as if millions of Apache came home and established an independent state in the original Apache land. Friends are welcome to stay.
(cont.)want to return home. Why not let them? Theres plenty of room for everybody. And yes, there has been a Jewish population in Israel even during the exodus. Many of them became Muslims, some became Christian, and many remained Jews. The Christians during the first crusade expelled them, but the Muslim leader Saladin after reclaiming Jerusalem and the region invited all of those Jewish communities back into Israel. The problems began when europeans came to take the land just for the Jews.
@Lestibournes
It wasn’t 50%, it was closer to 85% according to the UN. Your figure is from Israel, whose going to trust that? Moreover, according to broadcasts by Arab leaders the Palestinians were told to stay in their homes because they knew what would happen if they left. Israeli soldiers forced many Palestinians out, sometimes promising them that they could return later, only to shoot them or beat them when they came back. The Palestinians aren’t trying to kick the settlers out, they just
@shadowkill546 (continued) and that figure is going according to the PA, which is inclined to inflate that number for it’s own political reasons. Also, taking back your country from settlers who are suddenly trying to throw you out is not colonialism. For your information, there has always Jewish population in Israel – in Hebron, Gaza, Jerusalem, and other major cities. This land was not completely devoid of Jews since we returned from the Babylonian exile about 2500 years ago.
@shadowkill546 Only about 50% fled the country, and most did so on their own due to rumors about Israeli atrocities that were spread by the Arab leadership in order to rile the population against Israel. Israeli troops did forcibly evict some Arab villages, for the simple reason that you don’t want the enemy inside your own lines, especially if the enemy population is twice as big as your own.
@Lestibournes
LOL, for so many words you sure say a lot of nothing…no nation had Israel as its homeland and yet there was the dispossession of approximately 85% of the indigenous Christian and Muslim population and over 500 villages destroyed. So, if the land was so sparsely inhabited by the natives, why destroy them? Just for kicks? Typical European colonialist mentality…no matter what you can’t justify imposing your way over the indigenous people of the land and minimizing their lives.
@shadowkill546 There was no nation that had Israel as it’s homeland since the 2nd Temple, and the land was sparsely populated. According to PA there were about 1.5 million Arabs here in 1948, and that’s while Britain was allowing unlimited Arab immigration while blocking Jewish immigration from 1939. That’s about 20% of today’s population. What must it have been like before the Jews revitalized the country’s economy and drew in hordes of Arab immigrants seeking a better life for themselves?
lol whats funny here is that the santa claus dude said that bethlehem used to be a christian town until the muslims drove them all away…but wait, I thought palestine was a land without people for a people without a land LOL
anyways, both assertions are false according to history.
BTW: I just found some of Noam Jacobson’s music online for free download–yafati and haleluya–what a sweet voice he has. I hope he comes out with a CD because for sure I would buy it. TY Lartma for introducing me to his music:)
