And its funny you refer to the Apache since all Native American movements identify themselves with the Palestinians, not the European Jewish settlers. And Palestinians weren’t against these settlers from coming onto the land and making it their home, they lives in peace for a long time. All the population in Israel other than the Jews are settlers that came and colonized our country. We revived ourselves, just as if millions of Apache came home and established an independent state in the original Apache land. Friends are welcome to stay.

@shadowkill546 Only about 50% fled the country, and most did so on their own due to rumors about Israeli atrocities that were spread by the Arab leadership in order to rile the population against Israel. Israeli troops did forcibly evict some Arab villages, for the simple reason that you don’t want the enemy inside your own lines, especially if the enemy population is twice as big as your own.

LOL, for so many words you sure say a lot of nothing…no nation had Israel as its homeland and yet there was the dispossession of approximately 85% of the indigenous Christian and Muslim population and over 500 villages destroyed. So, if the land was so sparsely inhabited by the natives, why destroy them? Just for kicks? Typical European colonialist mentality…no matter what you can’t justify imposing your way over the indigenous people of the land and minimizing their lives.
@shadowkill546 There was no nation that had Israel as it’s homeland since the 2nd Temple, and the land was sparsely populated. According to PA there were about 1.5 million Arabs here in 1948, and that’s while Britain was allowing unlimited Arab immigration while blocking Jewish immigration from 1939. That’s about 20% of today’s population. What must it have been like before the Jews revitalized the country’s economy and drew in hordes of Arab immigrants seeking a better life for themselves?
