Lord Christopher Monckton is a British consultant, policy adviser, writer, columnist, and hereditary peer. While not formally trained in science, Monckton is one of the most cited and widely published climate skeptics, having even been invited to testify to the US Senate and Congress on several occasions. www.skepticalscience.com www.parliament.uk Lord Monckton’s scientific qualifications ……..crickets chirping Monckton is listed as a “Chief Policy Advisor” for the Science and Public Policy Institute (SPPI). The SPPI was until recently managed under the name “Center for Science and Public Policy Institute” by another free market think-tank called the Frontiers of Freedom. Frontiers of Freedom has received over $1 million in funding from ExxonMobil and over $1 million from Koch Industries. Monckton is listed as a “Global Warming expert” for the Heartland Institute, a Chicago-based free market think-tank. The Heartland Institute frequently attacks the scientific evidence for human-caused climate change. The Heartland Institute has received over $791000 from oil-giant ExxonMobil since 1998. www.greenpeace.org John P. Abrahams is an Associate Professor at the University of St Thomas. Russia’s deadly wildfires, the smog-filled cities and poor harvest, are being seen by some environmentalists as signs of man-made climate change. But Piers Corbyn of the Weather Action Foundation says the heatwave is only down to climate cycles…

1. Climate Change — the scientific debate

A basic look at how climate scientists infer that man-made carbon gases are changing the climate, and how this view is contradicted by other climate scientists who are skeptics. Delicious Steak with Dan Brown – Climate Crisis

Use the moderator module to play me in chess: ‪youtube.com Email me: danbrownuniverse@gmail.com Harry Potter Alliance (Official Site): thehpalliance.org Imagine Better Contest: imaginebetter.org Dear Dan, I continue to be frustrated by the way we as a society are missing the point around this Climate Crisis. The majority of people still think that caring about the environment is a “do gooder” thing to do. Save the polar bears. Save the trees. Save the beaches. What about save our grandchildren? Somehow we continue to hear about the Climate Crisis as if its threats are limited to forests and polar bears when in fact they extend to human rights. Poised to trigger wars over water, the drowning of island nations, the genocide of refugees, a collapse in the global economy, dramatic increases in hunger, natural disasters, poverty, disease, and other horrors beyond imagination, the Climate Crisis is a villain that we cannot afford to ignore any longer. Our biggest challenge is that most of our world remains uninspired to join in. I believe that we can be the heroes we’ve dreamt of being since we were little. And I believe as these heroes for our world, we’ve got to have the courage to inspire. That’s where the Imagine Better Contest comes in. The Imagine Better Contest can be found at imaginebetter.org It goes from June 27th to July 20 at 11:59 ET. Here folks can come up with ideas and art to inspire people. For the idea contest, people just put in ideas that will change their

Climate Denial Crock of the Week: “The Earth is Carbon Starved.”

Help Support Crock of the Week: www.climatecrocks.com The history of the earth is immense, and diverse – and its easy to get confused and mangle history, — to mix things that never belonged together in the real world. What was natural in the distant past might not be a good fit alongside man’s creations. Human beings and the climate of the ancient world, could find themselves on a collision course.
