Newton Mayor Setti Warren, has become the latest candidate to announce a U.S. Senate run against Republican incumbent Scott Brown. Warren, the first popularly elected black mayor in Massachusetts, previously worked in the Clinton White House as a regional FEMA director and was on U.S. Sen. John Kerry’s staff. He also served as a Navy intelligence officer in Iraq.
