The Cuipo Rainforest Initiative has offered up to one million meters worth of free rainforest parcel adoptions, via its “adopt a meter of the rainforest” program, to those who donate to the American Red Cross for Japan’s tsunami / earthquake survivors. This allows participants to benefit two world causes at one time, aiding the disaster relief program and preserving the tropical rainforest.
