This time the agenda is not to clean the Holy Ganges or pull in some roadways/railways/airways. The deal is big- it is the Nuclear Deal with The United States Of America. With American President George Bush and Indian PM Manmohan Singh dealing with it on the front pages, there are a lot of influential people behind the deal. The mixed views from everywhere echo various opinions, somewhat like these:-a) India would soon be flourishing to new heights with the advent of nuclear technologies.b) India is entering a sad phase with this havoc agreement been made between the two nations.c) India is heading for a no profit-no loss ‘vacuum’, as it does not have enough equipped resources to bring the aforesaid advancements.d) America has led a friendly hand towards one of the fast developing nations.e) This agreement would inevitably also help US to strengthen is business and capital income.Few experts however opine that it is a clear case of win-win situation for both the nations. It may come out as a “business deal” between two nations that would soon pave out the way for more business intra country. While India needs nuclear energy for various reasons, for United States it has more or less become the need of the hour. With the economy getting down with shattering figures, US could reap huge profits from the sale of nuclear equipment and energy. It can use the money in opening few more businesses that may stable its economy. India too can use nuclear energy to develop more energy- it can possibly start up many new businesses pertaining to electricity, water, military and medical sectors. Many new employees and workers can be hired, which can in turn decrease the unemployment rate in India. The use of Uranium can give birth to many businesses in India, that can further give rise to more businesses. The financial planning commissions and committees suggest that this nuclear business can entail to a chain of businesses in years to come. Where the agricultural business sector was once the backbone of India’s economy, it can now be the fields of IT, science and technology too.India is becoming a land of global business. With so many advancements taking place, it is soon becoming the most sought after country to do business with.
