Hey everyone!
I have a project due at the end of the semester for my business marketing class and I need some ideas. The concept is to think of a product here in the US, preferibly either food or some sort of simple item, and bring it to another country. Once there, the product needs to be adapted to the culture of the country. This item must be attractive to the country with which it is being brought to.
For example: Iams dog food being brought into India due to the rising number of people who are owning pets. The dog food is then made using a vegetarian formula to adhere to the religious beliefs of the Indian population ( The consumption of beef is against the Indian religion, and dogs are more sacred than humans to the Indian culture )
Another example are Krispy Kremes in China, adapting the donuts to the local tastes.

Basically, I need a market plan for some sort of food product or simple item (No technological products because this is the hardest idea to adapt to another nation) If you have any ideas let me know, this will help me immensly!
