Strike at Hyundai’s India plant ends
A strike that stopped Hyundai Motor’s production in India for two days was called off Wednesday night after India’s top car exporter agreed to consider rehiring dozens of workers dismissed in the wake of violent protests, the company said.

W.Va. Agency Issues Permit for Coal-to-Gas Plant
West Virginia regulators have approved an air pollution permit for a proposed coal-to-gasoline plant in Mingo County. The facility is expected to turn 3 million tons of coal a year into methanol that would then be converted into as many as 756,000 gallons of gasoline a day.
