SBI m-cap touches record Rs 2 lakh cr mark; shares zoom
MUMBAI: Shares of State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday zoomed over 6 per cent to hit a life-time high of Rs 3,175 on the BSE, taking the state-run lender’s market valuation to touch a record Rs two lakh crore-mark.

Yeah, it was indeed Salman Khans day-out at the ZOOM studio in Mumbai. He was promoting Wanted, alright, but when Sallu is at his best, hes nothing short of a super-entertainer. And thats what he did, he entertained us all and had the whole house in splits with his one-liners, his witty jibes at the media (oh, how we love him for that) and his typical dance moves. Yep, believe it or not, he was out there doing a jig for us all. And our cameras, too. The highlight of the day was when he dropped by ZOOMs editing studio and saw some of the story scripts strewn over the place. He picked up couple, raised his brows and said, Yeh kaisa script hai? Tumhare scriptwriters kaun hain? Our writers, a wee bit embarrassed, quickly responded saying it was their job, blah, blah, blah. Little did they know Sallu was simply being funny and bratty. He promptly added, Why are you guys making rotis here? Come to my place and I will feed you stories that taste like parathas. Phew! We heaved a sigh of relief. It was a bad-mood day for all at the ZOOM studios — especially for Shahid Kapoor and his heroine Anushka Sharma. The weather was hot enough as it is, but the mood was hotter as Shahid and Anushka – along with co-stars Vir Das and Chang – came to do a promotional interview for Yashrajs next Badmaash Company. Everything was fine until ZOOM anchor Nandini Vaid began asking the crew about how it was for such a diverse cast to work together. Established stars with newcomers. At that Shahid replied with, Yes, these young actors are relatively new and take a while to get into the groove. It led to all the other three taking offense and reacting angrily. But Shahid went on stating that he felt Vir Das was a miscast for the film. It led Anushka to jump to Virs defence with a, You didnt cast for them, so how can you say that. It upset Shahid greatly and he retorted by saying, Why are you jumping in? Its between me and Vir. Anushka immediately snapped, Shut Up Shahid! It put the good-looking hero in an instant bad mood and he then switched off by telling her, This is an old habit of yours Anushka. So just let it be. The awkwardness was apparent on all faces as Nandini tried to calm everyone down, but soon after, wrap was called and everyone rushed off to their respective make-up rooms.” In fact, Shahid even whispered to us at ZOOM later, I dont like this at all.
